URKUND is a practical tool for plagiarism control and for certifying the authenticity of professional texts. URKUND automatically checks texts against the Internet, archives and databases, reporting any similarities, and offers source track-back in an easy to operate analysis. URKUND is available via the web, via e-mail and through integrations with existing platforms such as Moodle, Blackboard and MS Sharepoint.
URKUND helps to improve the quality of education by providing pedagogical support in the writing process and saves time otherwise spent on verifying the contents of written assignments.
URKUND can also be integrated into external systems, allowing users of a Learning Management System and other customer specific systems to use URKUND as part of an already familiar environment. The new web service has all the nuts and bolts to make the interaction between our partners and URKUND both more modern and more flexible. The new web service uses completely different technology and we have therefore in connection with the revamp also improved major parts of the workflow. Among other things, we have moved away from e-mail as a method of transmitting documents in favour of a REST-based protocol using XML or JSON over HTTP.
URKUND is already integrated with a number of common Learning Management Systems, such as Moodle, Blackboard, Fronter, SharePoint, PingPong, Vklass, It’s Learning and others. Many more integrations are in the pipeline.
URKUND is the leading system for detecting and deterring plagiarism in Sweden's schools today. More than 800 schools in Sweden are using URKUND, and many others in other countries are seeing the benefits of URKUND too. Have your school join URKUND today!
URKUND is the leading web based system for plagiarism prevention. Today, a vast majority of Sweden's universities use URKUND in order to detect and prevent plagiarism efficiently. Students send their assignments to their professors for analysis via e-mail, direct upload or through an LMS/VLE. URKUND’s powerful systems check the documents, matching text against three central source areas: the Internet, published material and the URKUND Archive build from previously submitted documents. URKUND then presents the information required by the professor in order to determine whether or not the text contains plagiarism.
URKUND quickly checks all kinds of documents. The documents that you need to have examined are sent via e-mail and URKUND then checks the texts against the Internet and any archives and databases that your company deems important as sources.
