Urkund launches new statistics- and administration tool.
To further improve the usage of Urkund for our customers we have developed a tool that shows user statistics and facilitates the administration of users.
The new tool helps the administrator to monitor to what extent Urkund is being used within the whole University, within a faculty, within an institution or on a teacher’ level.
Our customers use Urkund to ensure that the quality of the education is maintained by actively working to prevent plagiarism. Urkund’s new tool enables them to thoroughly follow this work up. Urkund offers education to all our customers. However, if statistics show a lower level of usage within a certain part of the organisation, Urkund’s new tool gives the customer an excellent opportunity to specifically target these users for educational purposes.
The new tool also gives our customer the possibility to administrate users.
With the tool an administrator can easily add or inactivate users. In order to get a more detailed statistics the administration can tie users to different levels within the organisation.
The tool is developed to enhance the work for our customer. Our customer services will of course still be available to manage statistics and support user administration.
With new search algorithms and the latest hardware Urkund now gives you a far better analysis than before. For every hit we give you the choice of alternative sources to compare with. Therefore, Urkund is able to find more plagiarism than previously. By showing the hits in easy-to-read mark up blocks, Urkund presents a clear view of the text similar to other documents/texts published on the Internet and in other sources. [back]
