URKUND PEPP-talks 2017 are now over, and we would like to thank everyone who participated for making the day so enjoyable.
We always have a lot going on at URKUND.
Say hello to us at:
18-19 Oct 2017 - Next Generation Learning, Dalarna University, Falun
7-8 Nov 2017 - SURF Onderwijsdagen, Rotterdam WTC
16-18 Nov 2017 - ICERI, Seville
6-8 Dec 2017 - Online Educa Berlin, Berlin
3-5 Jan 2018 - Durham University
Many of our users prefer to work with URKUND using the various learning platforms already available within their organisations. We continually develop integrations for these, and are currently working to improve integrations with D2L and Canvas. Our integration with the latest version of Blackboard has taken a big step towards including Grade Center, while several exciting improvements to our Moodle plug-in are also in progress.
The fund was set up by a government decision in 1979 and is a collaboration between the Swedish Foreign Ministry and the business community. Its purpose is to promote business and trade between France and Sweden.
The fund awards scholarships to intensive management-level programmes in France and courses run by the Chambre de Commerce Suédoise en France (@CCSuedeFrance) and ESCP, Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris (@ESCPeurope).
“We’ve definitely noticed an increasing incidence of plagiarism since URKUND was introduced, and previously there was of course a high level of undetected incidence. It was far too time consuming for the teaching staff to carry out their own plagiarism checks. The automation has led to a bigger haul of perpetrators,” says Joshua Kragh Bruhn, Information specialist at CBS.
“The preventive objective of plagiarism detection is highly significant. When the students become aware of URKUND they are less inclined to seek shortcuts. Trying to cheat the system is ultimately more resource intensive than doing a good job from the start,” says Arshad Hussanee, Learn Online Manager på University of Canberra.
