Various pedagogical methods makes it easier or harder for students to successfully plagiarize. Urkund’s view on this is that each teacher should review ones pedagogical methods and if possible change them to make plagiarism more difficult. However, it is equally important to take into regard the pedagogical ideals and values one happens to believe in, and - of course, see to the possibilities of change that the resources available allows for. Urkund represents a great value when it comes down to finding a compromise between a desirable pedagogical method and a method practicable due to resources, because when the Urkund system is present one does not have to solve the entire problem of plagiarism through pedagogical methods. |
